Trader, Athlete & Mentor Credo: "Accept being overcome at any endeavor, since the only true definition of failure is that which occurs when actively accepting to give up."
Alexander Tatsumaki is a full time foreign exchange trader since 2010. For me this is a place where I put into writing things that I find interesting. I write from my own experience and I give my point of view. I mainly talk about trading, forex, pamm and investing in general. I am an avid thinker, trader, athlete and also an IT professional. All of that with a bachelors in IT. I've also studied Psychology, Behaviorism and Sociology at University level.
I first got interested in trading the market through computer games. Early on I found that I could easy yet not simply make money in the market. That was back in 1995 i think and things where easy back then. Later on I delved into algorithms, cognitive guidelines and mathematics to figure out if I could take advantage of weaknesses in the market. This was developed further into what is now real computer programs that mimic some of my thought patterns in the market. Given their win/loss ratio were a bit on the low side they most often end up in the green. I do trade manually now mostly though..
And that is where it has all started for me. The search was and is never ending, a perplex mishmash of ratios and intellectual brain smoke. Although I do firmly believe I have a grasp of things the uncertainty that comes naturally in trading can some times be enormously consuming. This is where the mental aspect comes in the picture, talking and knowing about it is truly needed. Knowledge, methods and self motivation also very much so. In my experience there is one way and one way only to truly learn a skill and that is by doing it, things will go wrong and so called "experience" will be gained by it. But that is all for now, it is an intro after all.
